The Annex Studios started life in Rebecca’s parents’ annex—so creating a space that still feels like home was never up for negotiation. Even though we’re now in the middle of town, we’ve held onto that “pop round to a friend’s” feeling… just with better hair, better coffee, and very good cake.

Our coffee house is here for more than just a quick caffeine fix. It’s a safe space café where you can come exactly as you are—on your own, with friends, mid-chaos or mid-reset—and feel completely comfortable. No awkward solo coffee moments here. Just cosy corners, big windows for people-watching, plug-in spots if you fancy pretending to work, and an eclectic bookshelf full of everything from self-help to slightly scandalous reads.

Whether you’re in for a fresh set of hair, a squidgy cookie and a flat white, or just five minutes of peace, The Annex is your space to slow down, switch off, and feel good. Effortless, welcoming, and just the right amount of indulgent.
